The Pink Dolphin Fund proudly announces its inaugural awards ceremony on December 14, 2025, at the prestigious Dorsett Hotel Kai Tak, located at 5 Concorde Road, Kai Tak, Kowloon, Hong Kong. This landmark event marks the official launch of our organization and celebrates exceptional contributions to marine conservation.
A Night to Honor Ocean Champions
The evening will feature six prestigious award categories, recognizing individuals and organizations who have made outstanding contributions to marine conservation. From celebrity advocates to groundbreaking researchers, from innovative filmmakers to policy leaders, we celebrate those who are making waves in ocean protection.
Award Categories
- Ocean Champion Award: Recognizing celebrities and public figures who use their platform to promote ocean conservation
- Ocean Wave Maker Award: Honoring exceptional storytelling through documentary, film, and journalism
- Ocean Impact Award (Biodiversity): Celebrating tangible success in protecting threatened marine species
- Ocean Impact Award (Marine Species): Recognizing habitat protection and ecosystem restoration efforts
- Ocean Sustainability Impact Award: Honoring technological and scientific innovations
- Ocean Policy Leader Award: Celebrating research and policy changes that drive conservation
Event Schedule
The ceremony begins at 3:30 PM with a welcome reception and cocktail hour, providing an opportunity for networking among conservation leaders, policymakers, and ocean advocates. The formal program commences at 4:00 PM with opening remarks, followed by the awards presentation from 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM.
At 5:15 PM, we will officially launch the Pink Dolphin Fund, unveiling our comprehensive five-pillar strategy for Chinese White Dolphin conservation. The evening concludes with a networking cocktail reception and media interviews from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
Judging Criteria
All nominees are evaluated based on three core criteria: Impact (measurable outcomes and tangible results), Novelty (innovative approaches and creative solutions), and Influence (capacity to inspire change and motivate others).
